Saint Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) will begin a series of events in observance of its 50^th anniversary with a Thanksgiving Service and Reception on Wednesday September 17, 2014.

LUCELEC celebrated its milestone anniversary on July 1, 2014 under the theme, “LUCELEC: 50 Years of Empowering the Nation”.

A number of officials are expected to join members of the LUCELEC Board of Directors, past and present staff and other guests at the event to be held at the National Cultural Centre.

All LUCELEC customers are asked to note that in order to facilitate staff attendance at the Thanksgiving Service and Reception, LUCELEC customer service locations at Vieux Fort & Soufriere will be closed from 10:00 am and at Sans Souci & Rodney Bay from 12:00 noon on Wednesday September 17, 2014.

 Normal operations will resume at these locations on Thursday September 18, 2014.
