LUCELEC has once again demonstrated its continued support for youth development in St Lucia, with the employment of dozens of students for the summer holidays. 22 students began training this week under the company’s Summer Employment Programme. They join 23 others who started the programme in June.

The summer employment programme facilitates internships for students on summer vacation from secondary schools and the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, and provides employment for students on vacation from universities.

St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) will meet with shareholders on Friday, May 4, at the CSA Centre in Sans Souci, Castries. The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m.

The 47th Annual Meeting of Shareholders will consider the Directors’ Report, the Company’s audited financial statements and the final dividend for the year ended 31st December 2011, appoint the auditors for the company, and elect directors retiring by rotation.
