The Saint Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) is giving the National Schools Science and Technology Fair more support.  

The Saint Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) will host its annual Staff Appreciation Night on Saturday, February 4, at the Gaiety on Rodney Bay.  

Eighty-five (85) awards will be handed out.  Among those are awards for Employee of the Year, Contractor of the Year, Supervisor of the Year and Manager of the Year.  Employees will also be recognized for perfect attendance, long service, and special contributions during the year.

Caribbean Information and Credit Rating Services Limited (CariCRIS), the Caribbean regional credit rating agency, has reaffirmed a CariBBB rating for Saint Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC). The rating indicates that LUCELEC’s creditworthiness, adjudged in relation to other obligations in the Caribbean, is adequate.

In a media release dated December 13, 2011, CariCRIS notes the ratings on LUCELEC “continue to reflect the company’s monopoly position in Saint Lucia, healthy financial profile and favourable operating efficiency.”
