LUCELEC Participates in Reading Month

Staff members from Saint Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) will participate in the Ministry of Education’s ‘Reading Month of May’ under the theme, “Literacies for the 21st Century; Inventing Our Future”.

From May 23 to 28, 2014, employees from the electricity company will read to students at the Bexon Infant, Odsan Combined School, La Croix Maingot Combined, Roseau Combined, Cul-de-Sac Day Care Centre and the Lady Gordon Opportunity Centre.

A total number of fifteen (15) staff members from various departments in the company will participate in the activity spearheaded by the LUCELEC Sports Club.

The reading sessions are scheduled to take place between 10am and 12 noon and are expected to last one hour at each school.
