Castries, January 30, 2026 – Multiple stakeholders from across Saint Lucia’s energy landscape convened at the Harbor Club from January 19 to 23, 2026, for a national workshop hosted by St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) and consultants ESB International. The gathering marked a significant step in developing the country’s Integrated Resource and Resilience Plan (IRRP), a long‑term blueprint to guide the future of the island’s electricity sector in keeping with the new draft Electricity Act.

Castries, December 19, 2022 – The world is gradually undergoing an energy transition as the financial and environmental cost of fossil fuels becomes increasingly higher than other energy sources. One of the areas Saint Lucia is pursuing to solve this energy challenge and reduce carbon emissions from the transportation sector is the transition to electric-powered vehicles or EV’s.

The St Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) will on Saturday September 21, 2013 host a day long study skills workshop for its twenty-one scholarship holders. It will be held under the theme, “Laying the Foundation for Success – Improve Study Skills, your roadmap to success.”

Teaching the workshop will be the Managing Director of the Celestial Self Development Centre, Thecla Deterville.
