Castries, March 16, 2023 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gilroy Pultie [POOL-tea] to the position of Managing Director.  

His appointment by the Board of Directors follows a rigorous selection process, including the completion of an Executive Development programme.

Castries, November 7, 2022 - St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) restored service to 99% of all customers in the North when Forestiere was energized at 12:39 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022.

Service restoration following the passage of a trough system on Sunday, November 6, began at 3:42 p.m. LUCELEC Technical crews and contractors are currently working to restore service to the small section of Balata that remains without power.

The Union substation was automatically interrupted at 2:09 p.m. resulting in loss of service to a number of areas including Union, Union Orchard to Babonneau, Monchy, Corinth, Vide Bouteille, Sunny Acres, Cacao, Forestierre, Marisule, Bois d’Orange, Grande-Riviere, Monier, Trouya and East Winds.
