Castries, March 7, 2022 – Mechanic Helper Mr. Ignatius “Iggy” Mathurin is the 2021 St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) Safety Champion. He was awarded the Company’s 2021 Health and Safety Award for the work he does to keep the Generation plant where he is based, sanitized in keeping with COVID-19 protocols and his willingness to assist the Health and Safety Committee. Of the recognition, he said “I was surprised, so very surprised and happy. I even cried a little bit.”

Castries, February 17, 2022 – Two major activities on the national calendar and one Constituency Council will receive St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) support for activities in observance of Saint Lucia’s 43^rd Independence. They are a national relay, musical showcase and a structure to fly our national flag.

Castries, February 14, 2022 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) on Monday, February 14, 2022 committed to donate four hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) to the newly established Government of Saint Lucia Social Assistance Fund (SAF).  The programme will benefit indigent members of the society.
