Castries, February 14, 2022 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) on Monday, February 14, 2022 committed to donate four hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) to the newly established Government of Saint Lucia Social Assistance Fund (SAF).  The programme will benefit indigent members of the society.

Castries, October 14, 2020 – The Government of Saint Lucia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) that will provide assistance to qualifying households in the form of electricity bill credits. The initiative known as the Electricity Assistance Programme (EAP) is one of the recovery and resilience strategies of the Government of Saint Lucia's national response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

St Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) has taken a historical step in assisting with the design of a viable energy transition strategy for the country.  The power company is also getting ready to begin the process of constructing a 3.2-MW solar power plant.
