Castries, December 3, 2025 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) has taken a significant step forward in operational innovation with the acquisition of a liquid nitrogen (LN₂) generator. This investment is set to streamline critical engine maintenance thus enhancing LUCELEC’s supply reliability to its over 70,000 customers across Saint Lucia.

Castries, October 11, 2024 – Five schools have benefited from new lighting and lighting fixtures as part of the ongoing St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) Electrification Project.

The Saint Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) Generation Department has been awarded a National Award of Excellence for Outstanding Contribution Towards the Education Sector.

The Department was recognized for its work at the Lady Gordon Opportunity Centre (in Ciceron) where a core group of thirteen (13) members, supported by the other members of the department as needed, have volunteered since 2010.
