LUCELEC Continues Phased Electrical Relocation Work On Norbert Road

Castries, April 13, 2026St.  Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) continues the phased relocation of utility poles and related electrical infrastructure along Norbert Road. This follows ongoing discussions on the scope of the poles to be relocated between the company, officials within the Ministry of Infrastructure and the project contractor.

In the first phase, 17 utility poles and accompanying infrastructure including cables and transformers are to be relocated.

Castries, September 15, 2025 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) will commence the third and final phase of its Meter Replacement Programme on Wednesday, September 17 continuing through Saturday, September 27, 2025. The initiative forms part of LUCELEC’s ongoing commitment to deliver a safe, reliable, and efficient electricity service.

The final phase will upgrade LUCELEC’s metering infrastructure, ensure continued compliance with the highest industry standards for quality and safety.

Castries, May 14, 2025St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) customers are advised that from Monday, May 19 until Friday, May 26, the company will undertake a meter replacement drive throughout the island. The campaign is part of LUCELEC’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe, reliable, and efficient service.

The exercise will result in an upgrade to the Company’s metering infrastructure and ensure that our services continue to meet the highest industry quality and safety standards.
