Female football players competing on a school level had long been a dream. In early December the inaugural Inter-Schools’ Female Football Tournament with sponsorship support from the St Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) concluded at the SAB/Vigie Playing making that dream a necessary reality.

St Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) is an Official Sponsor of the Saint Lucia Zouks, the locally based cricket team in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

St Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) is a sponsor of the National Inter-School Tennis Tournament that will be held from November 11-16, 2013. This is the second consecutive year LUCELEC is supporting the competition between primary, secondary and tertiary schools on the island. It is organized by the St Lucia Tennis Association.

LUCELEC is contributing $7,000 to the 2013 tournament – an increase of $2,000 over its sponsorship in 2012. The funds will be used to cover tournament costs and prizes.
