LUCELEC Deploys To Jamaica To Support Hurricane Melissa Recovery

Castries, November 11, 2025In a powerful display of regional solidarity, St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) has dispatched a skilled team to Jamaica to assist with power restoration efforts following the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa.

The six-member delegation, comprising four LUCELEC team members and two contractors, departed Saint Lucia on Tuesday, November 4.

Castries, March 21, 2025 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) wishes to advise the motoring public and residents of Carellie of excavation works at Carellie (near the gym area), from Monday, March 24, and continuing until Friday, March 28, 2025.

The works, which may result in intermittent traffic disruptions, are necessary to allow LUCELEC to undertake line maintenance in the area.

Castries, January 22, 2025 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) has made a significant contribution to the establishment of a Special Education classroom at the Vieux-Fort Infant School. The project, supported by District 6 IT Officer Chanin Aimable, saw the involvement of Greenspace – Landscapes and Construction, who with the assistance of several volunteers, dedicated it’s time to refurbish and paint the specially designed learning space.
