TEA TIME JAZZ continues to get LUCELEC support

St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) is continuing its support of the rebranded Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival with a financial contribution to the organizers of Tea Time Jazz.

On Thursday April 18, 2013, LUCELEC Corporate Communications Manager Roger Joseph presented a $5,600 contribution to the Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority, organizers of the two day event.

Tea Time Jazz will be held on Wednesday May 8 and Thursday May 9. It will feature performances from The Gospel Connection, En Voice, Trish and the Derek Yarde Project.

The Caribbean Information and Credit Rating Services Limited (CariCRIS) has reaffirmed Foreign and Local Currency ratings of CariBBB on Saint Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC).

CariCRIS is a regional rating agency that is based in and provides ratings for Caribbean companies and governments. It is the regional equivalent of international agencies like Standard and Poor which rates the financial profile of countries like the United States.

St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) is a Gold Sponsor of the 2013 Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival.

The power company was among several sponsors presenting its contribution to the main organiser of the revamped festival, Saint Lucia Tourist Board, on Thursday April 11, 2013.

The electricity company has assisted the 22- year-old festival since its inception, contributing electricity infrastructure as well as cash.
