St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) is co-hosting Wärtsilä’s Annual Technical Seminar for 2013.  The seminar takes place this week, May 15 -1 6, at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort and will include a technical tour of LUCELEC’s Cul De Sac Power Station.

Wärtsilä is a global leader in complete lifecycle power solutions for the energy and marine markets. Several of the engines at LUCELEC’s Cul de Sac Power Station were manufactured by and purchased from Wärtsilä.

St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) will hold its 48th Annual Meeting of Shareholders this coming Friday, May 3, 2013.

Shareholders from Saint Lucia, the Caribbean region and the wider world are expected to attend the meeting that will be held at the CSA Centre in Sans Souci.

Items for discussion include the appointment of the Company’s Auditors and the re-election of Directors.

Shareholders will also be asked to consider and adopt the Directors Report along with the Auditor’s Report and the financial statements for the year ending 31st December 2012.

St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited Newly sworn in National Community Foundation (NCF) Executive Director, Ms Madonna Monrose described corporate sponsors like the Saint Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) as the “lifeblood of the organization.”

She was speaking at the launch of the 10th annual NCF Telethon, to be held this year on May 26.
