Tropical Storm Chantal Caused No Major Power System Issues

Tropical Storm Chantal caused no major problems with the electricity infrastructure.

St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) is reporting that the power system fared very well throughout the storm.  There was no damage to infrastructure and the majority of customers had electricity throughout the storm.

In the north there were some isolated incidents of power fluctuations in some areas, small areas being without power, some reports of branches falling on lines and taking these lines to the ground, and two cases of meters being pulled off their mountings.
