Castries, October 03, 2025 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) wishes to remind the public of the procedures and safety requirements for the installation of banners, flags and other paraphernalia on its electrical poles. This advisory is issued in response to the increased unauthorized access to LUCELEC poles to install these items and how dangerously close to our energized lines that they are being placed. This has major safety implications for the individuals in question and the public.

Castries, September 15, 2025 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) will commence the third and final phase of its Meter Replacement Programme on Wednesday, September 17 continuing through Saturday, September 27, 2025. The initiative forms part of LUCELEC’s ongoing commitment to deliver a safe, reliable, and efficient electricity service.

The final phase will upgrade LUCELEC’s metering infrastructure, ensure continued compliance with the highest industry standards for quality and safety.
