LUCELEC and NWU Sign Collective Agreement for Senior Staff

Castries, November 8, 2024 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) and the National Workers Union (NWU) have signed a Collective Agreement for the period March 1, 2018, to February 29, 2024, on behalf of the company’s Grade 4 to 9 employees. 
 
The agreement covers two triennia – 2018 to 2021 and 2021 to 2024. 
 
Among its provisions is a 14% wage increase over the two triennia, and increases in vehicle allowance, mileage rate per mile and duty allowance.

LUCELEC Appoints New Senior Manager – Transmission & Distribution

Castries, October 22, 2024 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) announces the appointment of Mr. Allison Marquis to the position of Senior Manager – Transmission & Distribution (T&D) effective Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

Mr. Marquis previously served as the Company’s Assistant T&D Engineer and later Customer Service Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of the West Indies.
