Castries, January 26, 2024 – – A member of the general public is recovering under medical supervision following an incident that occurred on Friday, January 26, 2024 in the Marchand community.

The St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) received a call at approximately 7:23 a.m. indicating that an individual appears to have sustained an electric shock near a utility pole.

Castries, December 20, 2023 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) wishes to advise customers and the general public of the temporary closure of its Rodney Bay Office until further notice. Additionally, customers may experience service delays with the online processing of service requests and transactions. This is due to the absence of a number of key team members.

All options for conducting business with LUCELEC including SurePay and remote options remain available and customers are highly encouraged to utilize these channels.

Castries, November 07, 2023 – St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) confirms it received a copy of the notice from the National Workers Union to the Labour Minister dated October 18, 2023 advising of the intention of its Grade 4 to 9 employees who are members of the Union to carry out strike action from 8:00 a.m. on November 17.
