St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) announced today that its customers will see significant reductions in what they pay per unit of electricity. 

Shareholders of the St Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) have been invited to attend an information session to be held this coming Saturday February 6 at the CSA Centre at Sans Souci.

During the session, a number of amendments that have been made to the company’s By Law (rules shareholders established for the organization to regulate itself) will be explained to shareholders who will be asked to provide feedback on these changes.

Attorney-at-law Stephen Mc Namara has been appointed the new Chairman of the St Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) Board of Directors. A Senior Partner with the law firm of Mc Namara & Company, the incoming Chairman has been a member of the LUCELEC Board since October 2005. He chairs the Board’s Governance Committee and is a member of the Human Resource Committee.
