There should be no major changes in the business relationship between St Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) and the Hess Terminal at Cul De Sac, now under new ownership.

So says LUCELEC Managing Director Mr Trevor Louisy following a meeting on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 between LUCELEC and the President and CEO of Buckeye Partners Mr Clark Smith and Senior Vice President/President, International Pipelines and Terminals of Buckeye Caribbean Mr Khalid Muslih.

Congratulations to the St Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) Employees of the Third Quarter 2013 – Donna Emmanuel, Sabina Mitchel, Darnell Louis and Darton Charles.

The four LUCELEC Employees were recognized at a brief ceremony held on Tuesday November 12, 2013 at the Cul-de-Sac compound.

Ms Emmanuel is a member of the Planning Department, Ms Mitchell works in Customer Service at Sans Souci, Mr Louis is a member of the Generation Department and Darton Charles is employed in the System Control Department.

St Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) is a sponsor of the National Inter-School Tennis Tournament that will be held from November 11-16, 2013. This is the second consecutive year LUCELEC is supporting the competition between primary, secondary and tertiary schools on the island. It is organized by the St Lucia Tennis Association.

LUCELEC is contributing $7,000 to the 2013 tournament – an increase of $2,000 over its sponsorship in 2012. The funds will be used to cover tournament costs and prizes.
